Florence, OR—Oregon Pacific Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Al Rojas to Florence Branch Manager. Al will be working closely with Lori Gates during the transition period before her retirement from the Bank this spring.
“Lori’s retirement is a significant milestone for our bank and the Florence community,” said Kim Erickson, Senior Vice President & Florence Team Leader. “When she told me she was going to be retiring, I knew we had a big job ahead of us to find someone to fill her shoes. After hiring Al, I felt so much better knowing that the branch would be in good hands. He has worked at OPB for almost a decade. Our team truly enjoys working with him and so do the clients. The ties that he has within the community have continued to grow over the years and I know that he will become even more involved with his new role.”
Al’s journey at Oregon Pacific Bank began as a receptionist and quickly progressed to various positions, including Operations Supervisor and now Florence Branch Manager. In addition to his professional success, Al has also been actively involved in the local community through his role on the board of the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce and his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and Florence Foodshare.
When he’s not at the Bank, Al can be found entertaining the community as a DJ, a passion he has had since college. With a keen ear for popular music and years of experience, Al is a frequent performer at weddings and events, including Three Rivers Casino.
Oregon Pacific Bank is looking forward to celebrating Lori Gates’ 38-year legacy and welcoming Al Rojas as the new Florence Branch Manager. The Bank will be announcing Lori’s retirement date and inviting the community to come and wish her well on her next adventure.
