Ron Green has been leading Oregon Pacific Bank as President and CEO since 2013. With a background in both music and banking, Ron’s career began as a professional trumpet player, performing with local bands and even the Portland Opera Orchestra. He brings a collaborative, team-focused approach to his leadership at Oregon Pacific Bank, much like playing in a band.
Under his leadership, the Bank has grown significantly, expanding to six branches across Oregon, including additions in Eugene, Medford, and Portland. His focus is on keeping the bank independent, allowing Oregon Pacific Bank to serve its customers, community, staff, and shareholders effectively. Ron emphasizes creating a workplace where employees feel valued and proud to work, which in turn benefits the communities they serve.
Ron is passionate about community service, both personally and through his work at the Bank. He encourages staff to be involved in local initiatives, fostering a culture of service. He himself serves on the boards of the United Way of Lane County, PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center Community Health Board, and the Oregon Bankers Association. He’s also active with the Rotary Club of Florence and supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Lane County.
Ron continues to lead Oregon Pacific Bank with a focus on community service, believing that supporting those in need strengthens the entire community for future generations.
