Right at Home Southern Oregon feels right at home at OPB

Brooke Fredericks, owner and managing director of Right at Home Southern Oregon, knows the importance of customer care. Her Medford-based company provides skilled nursing and home care to help people with an illness or injury live independently. Gaining the trust of her clients and their families is integral to the services they provide.

In looking out for her clients’ interests, Brooke was impressed by the service they’ve received over the years from Oregon Pacific Bank’s trust specialists. OPB is one of the few community banks to offer trust and fiduciary services.

When it came time for Brooke to find a new bank, she didn’t have to look far. She reached out to OPB’s Medford office and talked to Vice President and Relationship Banking Officer Dawn Hartley.

“During COVID, it was kind of a difficult time for all of us and we needed a little extra help and support to get through that time,” Brooke says. “I called Dawn — no problem, she helped me. They go the extra mile.”

One service OPB offers is its remote check capability that allows Brooke to scan and make deposits right from her office. Should she have an issue or a question, Brooke says, it’s always easy to reach someone at the bank.

“I’m busy every day from morning to night, so if the bank can do something that makes my life a little easier, it makes a big difference,” she says.

Dawn says the service that OPB provides is all about knowing the needs of their customers. “We take pride in knowing our clients and knowing what their business means to them,” she says. “We’re able to take some that work off of their plates, so they don’t have to put any extra effort into their banking needs.”

Brooke says OPB not only supports her business, but also the wider community.

“I like that Oregon Pacific Bank is a community bank,” she says. “It’s here in our valley. They care about our community. They’re part of our community.”

And at the end of the day, Brooke says, it’s good to know that her business banking is in good hands. “It’s a nice feeling when we work so hard all day to take good care of people, to have other people who are taking care of us.”
