John began his banking career in 1992 in Eugene and has spent the last 33+ years working for community banks in Oregon. He joined Oregon Pacific Bank in 2018 as Chief Lending Officer. He has developed markets for Oregon Pacific Bank in Eugene, Medford and Portland resulting in growth that has more than tripled the size of the bank. John currently oversees deposit and lending operations six markets: Eugene, Roseburg, Medford, Florence, Portland, and Coos Bay. Drawn to OPB for its strong community focus, John is committed to delivering personalized banking solutions that help clients succeed.

John is an active member of the community as well as a small business owner. He and his wife moved to Florence in 2020. They restored a historic home and currently operate a Bed and Breakfast in Old Town. Outside of work, John is an avid sports fan (Go Beavers!) and also enjoys golfing and traveling.
